A Case Study of Learner Interaction in Web-based Learning
Virtual Brief Paper
ID: 40362
Abstract: The paper was intended to investigate student interaction in a web-based course delivered through a learning management system. The interactions included learner-learner interaction, learner-instructor interaction, and learner-content interaction. The participants were online students from a university in the southeast US. They were enrolled into a one-semester online course in research. The data was collected at the end of the class. Quantitative analyses were performed to examine learner interaction with the instructor, classmates, and online content. The relationships between three types of interaction and student satisfaction were investigated.
