Abstract: While online courses play a major role in higher education, mixed mode classes with multi-sites have been growing increasingly more popular in many institutions to cater to students who learn better in traditional learning environments and who live in rural or remote areas where environmental and infrastructure challenges obstruct learning. Mixed mode learning combines traditional classroom learning with online instruction and/or other media.
