A Revised Model of Collaborative eLearning Course Design and Development
Roundtable
ID: 40593
Abstract: Many higher education institutions have adopted a collaborative eLearning course design and development model to support faculty with online course development. To address issues encountered under this model at a large public university in the United States, such as faculty inactive participation and consequent program administration difficulty, a revised model that uses a cohort approach and upfront professional development, was adopted and showed its effectiveness. The phases as well as the detailed design of the new model will be shared and discussed.
