Abstract: This presentation describes a social network designed to support teachers whose students complete a feedback survey organized around the Tripod 7Cs of effective teaching: Care, Control, Challenge, Clarify, Captivate, Confer and Consolidate (Ferguson, 2012). After one year in five major US school districts, lessons learned can inform best practice for online TPD. We analyze network design elements such as video and text-based content delivered on an intuitive, socially organized and informal platform.
