Abstract: Many instructors and faculty have looked for new, innovative ways to engage their students through various applications, games and tools in the classroom. This best practices session is utilizing the cloud as a tool to bridge the learning gap and make more useful the various instruments to improve their teaching styles. What is the cloud, what tools are there and how can instructors’ best utilize these across curriculums to produce more efficient learners? The presentation will not only take you through the top cloud-based applications, but give you a background, examples of how to use them as well as a demonstration utilizing activities in the classroom.
