Abstract: This brief paper presents an online introductory narrative assignment in the context of a qualitative research methods course, as part of the M.Ed. program within an Israeli college of education. The learners come from all the segments of the Israeli society, so that opportunities exist for combining multicultural encounters throughout the course. The "Who am I?" assignment is one such combined learning opportunity, designed to enable both online and classroom conversations among the culturally diverse network of learners in order to create and re-create personal and collaborative narratives.
