Abstract: Becoming an effective teacher that thrives not only survives, involves much more than finishing a licensing higher education program. This case study approach used a teacher resilience framework in which the use of mobile technology was analyzed as protective factor and contributor to the development of resilient behaviors. We analyzed the apps used in problem-solving strategies by student teachers in their student teachers semester to cope with both professional and personal challenges and found a pattern that confirms the theoretical framework of resilience.
