Abstract: Course redesign began in 1999 with the work of Dr. Carol A. Twigg and the National Center for Academic Transformation. The use of information technology to enhance teaching and learning is the fundamental feature of course redesign. Following the success of Dr. Twigg’s work in the early 2000s, course redesign spread to many institutions, particularly for high-enrollment, introductory-level courses. This session will describe the redesign of a Pre-Calculus course at a large, public state university.
