Abstract: This paper addresses online inquiry project-based mathematics and science programs for students and online tutoring model within an online learning environment. The online program is designed for middle and high school students with the intent to provide mathematics and science-based concepts and challenging practical projects. In addition, online learning activities provided through weekly tutor-led concept-learning shows distinctive feature of learners get to tackle real-world problems by extending mathematics and science knowledge. The online tutors are assigned according to four main types of tutoring roles. Furthermore, it is shown that tutoring students enrolled in the online program is probably most important success factor.
