Abstract: The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of online course design that aspired to develop ICT self efficacy and increase student satisfaction, using challenge based learning in a community of inquiry. The instructional design focused upon personalized learning and eschewed many traditional tenets of online teaching and learning significantly improved student ICT self efficacy.
