Abstract: Biology 1310/1312 are core life and physical science courses which all non-major undergraduates may choose as options to complete their core requirements. With UHD’s current level of 14,400 undergraduates almost 89% (12,500) will consider the Biology 1310/1312 sequenced courses as their core science electives. Given this large, diverse undergraduate population representing business, humanities, criminal justice, mathematics, and psychology majors the Biology 1310/1312 sequence is essential for many UHD students in moving toward graduation within a declared major.
