Abstract: As mobile devices continued to see more usage in Georgetown University Medical Center (GUMC), the Instructional Technology Design and Development (ITDD) division of Dahlgren Memorial Library converted a Flash-based online neuroanatomy learning tool with rollover interactions into an HTML5-based learning tool. ITDD redesigned the learning tool with click-and-reveal interactions to expand its compatibility and established a plan for developing a downloadable app. ITDD created the learning tool for mobile devices with the e-learning authoring software, Captivate, resulting in GUMC faculty interested in applying the click-and-reveal interaction design to their own self-directed learning module development.
