Abstract: In this virtual presentation we will share (and be available online during the conference to discuss) instructional design strategies from two in-process online professional learning projects (both with research components): a National Science Foundation (NSF) project that involves converting successful face-to-face computer science instructor professional development into facilitated online workshops, and a continuing education program funded by the Council of Academic Programs in Communications Sciences and Disorders (CAPCSD) to provide necessary training to clinical supervisors of speech pathology and audiology graduate students The presentation will share design strategies and to-date research findings and the authors will then facilitate an online discussion throughout the conference on how our project design strategies and lessons learned can be applied to meet the needs of other programs
