Abstract At Concord University, three undergraduate classes, Educational Psychology, Assessment, and Technology (EPAT) have been integrated into a single course The major goal for combining the three courses include presenting educational concepts in an integrated fashion In addition, this course presents a model of collaborative instruction for the pre-service teacher The model combine face to face instruction on campus, online instruction via Blackboard and, perhaps most importantly on-site instruction and field study placements in K-12 schools throughout the university’s service region This unique approach maximizes the advantages of collaborative teaching, the traditional educational field placement, and 21st Century online educational opportunities
