Abstract: The rapidly changing environment of online higher education poses challenges for higher education institutions on many fronts. One that is particularly important is the need to develop and deliver high quality professional development programs to keep online faculty up to date and capable of addressing the needs of today’s students and the demands of other outside organizations.
