Instructor Satisfaction with E-Learning
Abstract: An abundance of research has been focused on E-Learning, but generally that focus has been on emerging technology, teaching strategies, and the student's experience of E-Learning. Also important to consider is the instructor. When the light has been shown on the instructor in research the typical focus has been on improving his or her skills and techniques. But, for those instructors who do take on the challenge of e-learning an important consideration becomes how satisfied they are with their new teaching method. Research has addressed how satisfaction can be assessed, and identified factors that influence that level of satisfaction. The presenter will describe those findings, and his personal and professional reactions to e-learning in order to stimulate discussion.
