Abstract: Teaching entry level physical therapy students to document patient care is challenging due to the tedious nature of this task. Multi-media technology is often used to spark interest during traditionally mundane learning experiences. Whether the approach produces meaningful learning or is simply an entertaining diversion is questioned. This presentation will summarize how an academic physical therapy program has assessed the effect of multi-media on learning of medical documentation.
