Abstract: Diverse e-learning applications are implemented in the different part of the whole e-learning system. As a result, to fulfill the entire learning activities, the information and functionalities should be shared, interacted, and interoperated among all the e-learning applications. In order to make any e-learning applications add, delete and upgrade its own modules without affecting other applications according to the changes of all the stakeholders` needs, the scalability must be considered when we design the architecture for e-learning systems.
