Abstract: Current virtual learning environments are successfully delivering the functional needs required by the Institutions that launched them and by the faculty that is there to facilitate the learning experience. However, they have failed to be suggestive, engaging, motivating and exciting (as learning processes should be), a gap that needs to be accounted for, if we wish for people to learn and be motivated to learn.
