Abstract: This workshop will actively involve participants in an exploration of innovative, Web 2.0 applications as tools to support the teaching and learning of 21st century skills across content areas in K-16 classrooms. Participants will have an opportunity to engage in hands-on practice with a variety of these tools for communication, collaboration, critical thinking/problem solving, and visual learning. The workshop uses the metaphor of tools and a toolbox since a toolbox contains an assortment of tools designed for specific tasks and that the owner values and are indispensable to his/her practice.
