Abstract: This article reviews the distance teaching practices used in rural Morocco in the context of pedagogical continuity. We also propose an analysis of the actors’ perception, as well as a Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats (SWOT) analysis of the prevailing practice in rural areas. The results of the group work in the four schools studied, as well as the plenary discussions, show that after a period of closure of the schools, there was a period of trial and error between 5 distance teaching models. Thereafter, there was unanimous support for the use of WhatsApp despite the constraints of this model
