Abstract: In the spring of 2003, a special issue of Educational Technology Research and Development will be published with articles detailing five projects funded through the US Department of Education’s Preparing Tomorrow’s Teachers to Use Technology (PT3) grant initiative. The purpose of this symposium will be to describe the process by which the issue was compiled (from inception to selection of participants to publication), and to provide the authors of the five articles selected for the special issue and the special issue discussant an opportunity to summarize their articles and present evaluative data regarding the effectiveness of their efforts.
