Abstract: This paper reports on my initial findings of implementing a new approach to student reflections by having those reflections centered on specific events captured in digital video and photos. The study involved using a Sony CD digital camera, which allowed students quick and easy access to write reflections around specific events that took place in their classroom experience. Students reported a high degree of satisfaction with this approach to preparing reflective writings. Initial review of student reflections revealed a deeper, more clearly focused approach to analyzing their teaching experiences.
