Abstract: The influence of PT3 Grants is wide-spread and has caused many teachers to pause to consider the value of integrating technology into instruction and assessment. This descriptive study examined practicing teachers knowledge about classroom and standardized assessment, their beliefs and practices related to assessment, and the stages of concern they experiences when handheld computers and ePortfolios were provided as new measures of assessment. Along with descriptive data, assessment capabilities of the handhelds and ePortfolio will be demonsstrated.
