The Tech-to-Go Program through the Experience of a Pre-Service Teacher
Abstract: In the current trends in adopting technology into curriculum, it is important to identify beliefs, perceptions and interpretations that teachers have about the philosophy of technology integration in learning and teaching. The purpose of this case study is to investigate a pre-service teacher’s involvement with the Tech-to-Go (TTG) program at a Midwestern university an. In order to better understand the pre-service teacher’s technology adoption in instruction, the case study focuses on understanding how an elementary pre-service teacher integrates technology in her teaching using the Tech-to-Go program. It documents her ideas, views, and understandings of experiences related to TTG program. The findings reveal that the pre-service teacher’s beliefs about the availability of technology and support appeared to be significant in her use of TTG program and her technology integration into curriculum.
