ePortfolio in Dutch teacher education: a year later
Abstract: Last year I presented the new approach to the ePortfolio in our university. At the faculty of education of Hogeschool Utrecht we start with the learning process of the student and relate this to the actual coaching process. Using this approach the portfolio turns into a meaningful tool that supports these processes, helps the students in developing their competences and contributes to a clear and meaningful communication with the coach. For both student and coach the workflow is reduced and communication is no longer about non-issues. During the year we have developed templates and workflow for this new ePortfolio using Microsoft SharePoint 2007 and implemented these tools. In this round table meeting I will share our experiences and discuss our approach and results.
