Abstract: The one to one (1:1) approach is conceptually defined as an instructional environment where students have a computer and relevant software available to them 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This strategy enables learners to have immediate and continuous access to infinite resources. It also frees teachers to become facilitators/moderators of learning. Advocates claim remarkable benefits. But do these 1:1 technology programs really make a difference on student achievement?
