Abstract: Mashups are an exciting new breed of Web-based data applications. Much like building a collage, a mashup is a unique assembly of individual things from more than one source into a single integrated whole. This paper examines the architecture and technologies that are currently used such as screen scraping, web feeds and web services and the three separate participants in the process.
