Abstract: This proposal reports on the initial stages of a research agenda that looks at the use of podcasts and digital videos to promote literacy development in young writers. Specifically, this proposal looks at how podcasts and digital videos can be used to create multimedia representations of student writing as a way to make that writing more accessible to other readers both inside and outside the classroom.
