A Practical Approach to Question Design for Classroom Response Systems
Abstract: Classroom response systems (CRS) are an emergent form of technology designed to promote interaction within the classroom. As with most technologies, the challenge is in the pedagogy, not the use of technology itself. This paper discusses how instructors can moderate convergence and divergence in the classroom through question design. The paper should be particularly helpful for instructors who are new to the technology and considering its adoption.
