Abstract: The emerging crop of college students, most of whom are referred to as ‘Millennials’ or the Internet generation, and how they use technology has implications for the future of higher education. This study examines students’ technology use, skills, and expectations, and students’ evaluation of faculty use of technology in instruction. Implications of this study offer insights into how instructors in institutions of higher learning should be integrating technology into their curricula. Such an insight provides suggestions on how to improve and strengthen academic programs to cater to the needs of all students, and especially the new generation of college students.
