Share Paper: Pre-service Special Education Teachers’ Perceptions of the Integration of Distance Education Technologies in an Introductory Course

Abstract: In this survey study we asked a series of questions about how our pre-service teachers (n = 67) perceived the hybridization of an introductory special education class. Student technology skill and access to technology were used as blocking variables to explore student perceptions before and after course delivery. Results indicated that most students wanted the class to be delivered in part online – and this number grew after course delivery.
