Abstract: It is apparent that the Millennium generation is constantly moving through life with an abundance of technologies at their fingertips. They text message, use iPods, send pictures via cell phones and are instantly connected to one another. As educators, how might their current “connectedness” impact the teaching and learning process? How can we as educators of future teachers prepare them for the rapid adoption of new techniques that incorporate new technologies? We will report the results of our survey. The results will provide a better picture of what students are using and how we might adapt their current technology use to enhance their educational experience and prepare them for the adoption of new technologies in the classroom.
