Abstract: A method of incorporating a self evaluation into the assessment of student interaction and participation in a graduate learning course is described and discussed. The self evaluation assessments were to provide evidence and aspects of course performance that were not otherwise evaluated by the instructor. The participants, 23 (21 females and 2 males) graduate students, enrolled in a college of education learning course at a medium size, southern university were asked to respond to a two fold self evaluation questionnaire.
