The new age: Best practices for encouraging pre-service teachers’ use of online resources in practicum experiences
Brief Paper
ID: 21398
Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to investigate the preliminary use of a variety of online learning resources by pre-service teacher candidates. These resources, which include a discussion board, two group blogs, individual blogs and hypertext links, were made available to teacher candidates (via a portal) as a tool to facilitate the creation of an online learning community. The study will document how these participants use the tools in order to provide insight into best practices for the use of these online resources to support the teacher candidate learning experience.
