Abstract: This presentation will focus on color blindness and education. Although not a primary educational topic, color blindness affects over 35 million individuals in North America and Europe. Peter Jones, photography expert and inventor of numerous optical products, will review color blindness; why color blindness is an issue in the classroom, workplace and at home; demonstrate the difference between normal color vision and color blindness; and provide a brief demonstration of one tool that assists color blind individuals and others working to accurately view colors on their computer screens.
