Abstract: In conjunction with NCATE standards, Mississippi State University at Meridian's Division of Education strives to accommodate teacher interns with an organized, experience-based approach needed to develop dispositions and knowledge necessary in their role as teachers. Since many departments of education are using electronic portfolios as decision-making tools for standard-based decisions regarding NCATE accreditation, it is necessary to create a form of assessment that encourages students to self-reflect. This paper will focus on TaskStream, a Web-based customized electronic portfolio program used by our teacher interns and professors.
