Abstract: The African nation of Namibia has embarked on an aggressive plan to fully integrate information and communication technologies into its education systems as part of its effort to become a knowledge-based economy by 2030. The plan, dubbed “Tech/Na!”, was officially launched in September 2006 and was the result of collaborative efforts between local non-governmental organizations, the private sector, the Ministry of Education, and international development and aid organizations.
