Abstract: The BRIDGE ( is a website where teachers can share their own expertise with other educators by sharing useful resources and by participating in online learning communities. Resources are connected to the Georgia Framework for Teaching, a definition of accomplished teaching adopted by various state agencies in Georgia. Our online communities/groups are specifically designed to support Critical Friends Groups (CFGs), a successful face-to-face learning community model that brings teachers together around their own work and utilizes facilitators and conversation protocols to focus on improving practice. In this poster session, we will show the BRIDGE in detail, focusing on Resources and Communities, and including the associated (and highly critical) “people processes.” We will also highlight current projects and uses of the BRIDGE as well as have a live demonstration of both the Resource and Communities area of the BRIDGE.
