Abstract: This research was intended to redesign Information Literacy Class based on peer-reviews and story-based teaching materials with the introduction of Moodle. The study goal was to acquire skills for spreadsheet and data analysis with Microsoft Excel. The classes in 2006 had been designed with interesting, intelligent and interactive (i.e., ‘3I’) factors. First, an interesting story-based class introduction had attracted students’ concerns. Secondly, assignments requiring intelligent answers had been given to students. Thirdly, submitted assignment files had been peer-reviewed and commented by the teacher on sheets in an interactive collaborative learning. According to results of post questionnaires, the aspect of ‘interactive’ and ‘intelligent’ had room for further improvement. Therefore, the class in 2007 was improved by introducing Moodle. It led to more efficient peer-reviews and teacher’s prompt feedbacks and awards. The effectiveness is described based on the data from examination results, questionnaires, and log data in Moodle.
