Abstract: This article will focus on the purpose that compressed video courses and virtual high school courses served in a rural Mississippi High School between 2002-2005. Advantages & disadvantages of distance education programs will be discussed as well as statistics from distance education in Mississippi and other states. The Principal Investigator (PI) in this study served as Principal of Weir Attendance Center (PK-12) between 2002-2005.
