Abstract: Our poster and demonstration will provide an overview of curriculum webs, including their design and use at all levels in education. Although similar to WebQuests, curriculum webs extend coverage both in time spent and types and depth of activities involved. Examples of curriculum webs created by teachers in the two presenters’ educational technology classes will be shown. These webs exemplify benefits for both teacher and student, including linking to pre-selected high-value web sites, differentiation of instruction, incorporation of multimedia lessons, and use of the curriculum web as an easily updated and expanded teaching and learning resource. We will also demonstrate and discuss a newly available web page development application, Google Sites, a free and easy-to-use way our students have created web sites.
