Abstract: : Teachers need to learn new knowledge and skills in order to effectively teach gifted students. In many states, teachers must be gain an add-on certification to indicate their competence and expertise in teaching gifted students. Courses for a Gifted Education program were developed for online delivery. A post-hoc qualitative study was conducted to ascertain the themes and concepts that led to the powerful online community that developed for the teachers of the gifted from taking these courses.
