Abstract: This project aims to solve the problems of identity authentication of users in remote or virtual environments whose use has spread both in distance education and traditional universities. The project integrates a biometric identification module based on techniques of fingerprint recognition in the educational communities and learning management systems where most of the courses for distance education are held. It seeks its integration into traditional and remote environments, and in the remote environment in theoretical’s as well as virtual labs.
