Abstract: eMINTS, a professional development model for in-service and pre-service education, strives to change technology usage and classroom practice. This study investigates the nature of teachers’ classroom practices as a result of eMINTS professional development. While self-reporting of technological knowledge was conducted, the important component of this study was the use of outside evaluators who made 89 visits to classes. Focusing on the school-wide changes, the study found that teachers exhibited proficiency using technology for obtaining, managing, and presenting information and that classroom technology integration was firmly within the adaptive level.
