Abstract: This poster presentation will demonstrate how MMS Video Messaging on an Apple iPhone can be used to conduct conversations in American Sign Language (ASL) rather than through traditional text messaging in English. For many Deaf educators, ASL is the language of choice, but until recently communication exchanges required more permanent ‘video stations’ with a webcam and a computer. Now, video chatting can occur in real time on a cell phone.
