Abstract: Mobile technologies are gaining momentum and popularity in the daily life of today’s secondary school students. It is important to explore these devices as a tool for learning. These devices embrace and encourage ubiquitous learning through their ease of portability and access of various activities. Through a quasi-experimental design, this study will explore the growth and transfer of a student’s vocabulary from the pretest to the posttest as well as explore technology usage characteristics and demographic criteria.
