Abstract: Instructional technologies such as podcasts are effective at conveying information to students. Despite their many benefits, using such technologies leaves students as passive learners. The purpose of this paper is to suggest that educators adopt another technology, online talk radio shows, to blend the strengths of podcasts with more active participation in online learning.
