Abstract: E-books have been gaining popularity with adult readers over the past few years, but this technology is not being implemented in many public classrooms. There are many e-books available online and free of charge, but teachers and educators are not taking full advantage of this technology despite the positive research. This paper describes a language arts lesson involving e-book technology and its benefits. Students will be placed in groups and take turns reading the e-book story on a variety of devices provided by the teacher. A class discussion will take place to examine the story and its components after everyone has read the story.
