Abstract: The purpose of this poster session is to show practical examples of web-based tools (such as wikis and Google Docs) as strategies to improve collaboration and communication between general educators and special educators. University faculty – in the areas of instructional technology, secondary education, instructional leadership, and special education – will present information about professional development (PD) implemented with school systems to train administrators and educators on technology tools valuable in the collaborative process and on models for effective collaboration.
